Change Logs

What's new on Fleaux, newest first.

August 2026

Notifications that go somewhere

  • Every notification is now clickable and takes you straight to the thing it's about — the exact post, the comment, the conversation, the join request.
  • Similar unread notifications group together instead of flooding your feed: "10 people have requested to join your group" rather than ten separate rows. Reading one starts a fresh count.
  • Group owners, admins, and moderators are notified when someone asks to join — one click from the notification to the approve screen. Requesters hear back when they're approved.
  • Important notices — moderation actions, role changes, and system messages — always stay individual and never group.
August 2026

Messaging & connections

  • Your Privacy settings now actually govern who can start a conversation with you: everyone, your circle and tap connections, your circle only, or nobody.
  • A tap connection lets you message each other. If the connection is removed, the conversation stays readable but sending pauses — with a note in the thread explaining why.
  • Blocking someone now reliably prevents messages in both directions.

Polish & fixes

  • Every confirmation, alert, and prompt is now a Fleaux dialog instead of a plain browser popup — including the report form, which stays readable on any profile theme.
  • A new Fleaux app icon.
  • Added this Change Logs page and a Help page, both linked from the sign-in screen.
  • Fixed: saved lists can be created and used again, and saved posts show their images.
  • Fixed: reporting a member's profile now works and reaches moderators.
  • Fixed: the tab bar and muted text on custom-themed profiles are readable on any color palette.
August 2026

Taps & Connections

  • New Taps page: see who tapped you, who you've tapped, and your Connections — with tap-back, undo, and remove.
  • Tap button on profiles, shown only when you match each other's preferences.
  • A pink heart on a profile means mutual compatibility. Hide hearts in Settings → Display, or hide yourself from matching in Settings → Privacy.
  • Connection preferences (gender, who you're open to, status) live in Edit Profile → Connections.
  • Fair-play limits: daily tap budget, plus cooldowns after undoing a tap or removing a connection.
August 2026

Immersive profiles

  • Custom profile themes now paint the whole page — your colors, edge to edge, even for visitors in dark mode.
  • Profile pages went full-width with a Back button; theme colors are picked in Edit Profile.
  • Every shade on a themed page derives from your palette, so text stays readable on any background.

Messages, overhauled

  • Start direct messages and group conversations right from the Messages page.
  • Add people to a group — they can read the full history. The info button shows everyone in the conversation.
  • System notices in the thread: "X added Y to the conversation."
  • Right-click menus on conversations and messages: open, mark as read, rename, edit, copy, delete.
July 2026

Profile photos & presence

  • Photo uploads with a position editor — drag and zoom to fit the circle. Pasted image links retired.
  • A platform default avatar for members who haven't added a photo yet.
  • Presence rings: green for online, amber for recently active. Hideable in Privacy settings.

Engagement everywhere

  • Group posts caught up with regular posts: reactions, comments, views, saves, shares, and reporting.
  • Threaded comments on group posts with lazy loading.
  • Saved lists work across every kind of content.
